7th PRIMaRE conference goes virtual

Due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, the 7th PRIMaRE conference will be held online, with no charge for attendance.

The call for abstracts is open and has been extended until Friday 17th April 2020.

Further information including the format of this virtual conference will be sent to registered delegates and announced on the PRIMaRE website closer to the event.

The 7th PRIMaRE conference represents the latest in the annual scientific conference series of the marine renewable energy community.

The conference will be held between the 7th and 8th July 2020, and will be run by University of Plymouth and Plymouth Marine Laboratory.

The conference includes universities, industry and research centres active in all aspects of marine renewable energy and is expected to attract over 100 participants ranging from industrial developers, university researchers, marine environmentalists and policy makers.

The aim of the event is to cover a wide range of topics in marine renewable energy, including: technology, policy, environment, hydrodynamics, resource characterisation, materials, operation and management, etc.
