EMEC on Look Out for New Non-Executive Director

The European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC), one of the leading test facility for wave and tidal energy converters, is looking to appoint a new non-executive director to its board of directors.

The position will offer strategic guidance and governance to the company and strong leadership during the period of planned growth, the company noted.

The successful candidate will help determine the strategic direction of EMEC focusing on delivering its growth plans, expanding the company’s range of services and increasing its influence.

Furthermore, new non-executive director will help accelerate the growth and viability of the marine renewable energy (wave and tidal) sector and development of the green hydrogen economy and energy systems, among other duties within the company.

The appointment will last for a period of up to three years.

The deadline for the submission of applications is November 25, 2019.
