DMEC Talks Renewables at Europort

Dutch Marine Energy Centre (DMEC), on behalf of the OPIN project, will present the potential of marine energy during Europort 2019.

Taking place in the world port city of Rotterdam from 5 – 8 November, Europort is setting up a series of high-profile masterclasses targeting a specific maritime sector.

During this Europort Masterclass (November 6), frontrunners in the field of offshore renewables will present their newest solutions and share their vision on the future of offshore energy. What are the business opportunities for companies operating in the traditional oil and gas market today? And what technical innovations will reduce costs and increase efficiency? During the network lunch you will have the opportunity to interact with the speakers and other attendees.

The Europort Masterclasses are jointly organized by Rotterdam Ahoy and Netherlands Maritime Technology.

DMEC Director, Britta Schaffmeister, will present on the topic ‘The future of generating energy offshore‘.
