The environment & consents officer will deliver environmental technical expertise into EMEC projects.

The candidate is required to be educated to degree level in a relevant technical or scientific subject and have knowledge and experience of environmental legislation.

The position will also include assisting with maintenance of EMEC’s site-wide consents to ensure they remain appropriate for activities at the site, engage with stakeholders and maintain relationships to ensure the regulator, statutory consultees and local stakeholders are effectively consulted on activities across EMEC’s projects, among other things.

Based in Orkney, this is a full-time post for a fixed term of two years, EMEC noted.

The deadline for the applications is July 05, 2019.
