WATCH: New Port of Brest Marine Renewable Energy Terminal

Port of Brest is getting ready to support the clean energy transition with a new port terminal dedicated to ocean renewable energy and offshore wind industry.

French port of Brest started upgrading its quay areas to better serve the needs of the marine renewable energy industry in 2017.

The region of Bretagne invested around €220 million in port upgrades to attract players within tidal and offshore wind energy sectors.

The project is scheduled to be completed in 2020.
