Eco Wave Power to Participate in PortXL Accelerator

Eco Wave Power (EWP) has been selected to participate in the PortXL Port & Maritime Accelerator program, with a goal of setting the first wave energy power station in the Netherlands.

The PortXL acceptance to accelerator is through a competition, which took place in the Science Tower in Rotterdam.

Eco Wave Power was represented by Yair Rudick, the business development manager of the company.

Eco Wave Power already constructed an R&D power station in Jaffa Port, Israel, as well as a first grid connected power station in Gibraltar.

“The Gibraltar power plant (co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund) is connected to the grid since 2016 and has become the world’s longest grid connected array to date. The Gibraltar project receives significant attention as it positions wave energy as a viable & reliable renewable energy source and now Eco Wave Power is looking foreword to expanding its’ technology to additional locations around the world,” Eco Wave Power said.
