Dutch marine centre goes on a recruiting spree

The Dutch Marine Energy Centre (DMEC) is looking to hire two professionals who would join its team and work on the upcoming marine energy projects.

DMEC is on a mission to strengthen its team with two project managers with mid to senior experience level, who will be responsible for the overall management and implementation of the centre’s European innovation and demonstration projects.

The candidates are required to have an MSc degree in the field of renewable energy, preferably, and/or business management, with 6 to 10 years of experience with project management for the senior level position, and 2 to 6 years for the mid-level position.

The deadline to apply for the positions has not been set, but the interested parties are encouraged to apply before December 31, 2018.

DMEC is a service provider to the marine energy sector, delivering technical and commercial support to companies in order to fast-track their technological development plans and growth strategies.

The centre’s services include design and engineering support, demonstration and deployment support, certification and business strategy development.

Furthermore, DMEC is an initiator of international innovation and demonstration projects which brings together technology developers, knowledge institutes and offshore organizations.

DMEC also coordinates the Marine Energy Alliance (MEA), and MET-CERTIFIED, projects whose aim is to advance the development of marine energy sector through different initiatives.
