DMEC looking for project managers

The Dutch Marine Energy Centre (DMEC) has kicked off a recruiting process for new team members who will work on upcoming projects.

DMEC is looking to strengthen its team with two project managers with medior to senior experience level, who will be responsible for the overall management and implementation of the Centre’s European innovation and demonstration projects.

The candidates are required to have an MSc degree in the field of renewable energy, preferably, and/or business management, with 6 to 10 years of experience with project management for the senior level position and 2 to 6 years for the medior level position.

DMEC is a service provider to the marine energy sector, delivering technical and commercial support to companies in order to fast-track their technological development plans and growth strategies.

The Centre’s services include design and engineering support, demonstration and deployment support, certification- and business strategy development.

Furthermore, DMEC is an initiator of international innovation and demonstration projects in which technology developers, knowledge institutes and offshore organisations join forces. The Centre coordinates the Marine Energy Alliance (MEA) where companies gain access to best-available expertise throughout Europe. DMEC also coordinates the MET-CERTIFIED project where European organisations work together to establish internationally recognised standards for certification.
