The event, organized in collaboration with the British Embassy in Portugal, will inform out about the new activities in the field of marine renewable energies and offshore aquaculture through presentations of Portuguese, British and European top speakers of the sector.

Structured into four sessions, the seminar will feature industry leaders debate on offshore renewable energies and aquaculture, and discussions on innovation in marine renewable energies, other offshore business opportunities, as well as synergies between infrastructures and the supply chain in Portugal and the UK.

In the scope of the European funded project Oceanic, the WavEC seminar will also explore how innovative techniques of surface protection, such as coatings, can be applied to offshore infrastructures.

The event will take place on December 4, 2018, in Museu do Oriente, Lisbon.
