K2 Management enters marine renewables sector

K2 Management, the specialist global renewables engineering consultancy, has acquired energy engineering consultancy working in marine renewables sector Cruz Atcheson.

The acquisition marks K2 Management’s entry into the wave, tidal and floating wind sector, and follows its recent acquisition of yield analysis specialists – Prevailing, the company said.

Founded in 2015, Cruz Atcheson specializes in three key areas in the wave, tidal and floating wind sector: concept design, due diligence support and project development. Its team will be fully integrated into K2 Management’s organization, the consultancies informed.

With this acquisition, K2 Management has expanded its presence to Lisbon, Portugal, adding to the total of 19 K2 Management offices which span six continents.
