EEL Energy bolsters team for full-scale device delivery

French tidal energy developer EEL Energy has appointed Christophe Sartiaux as Project Manager for the delivery of full-scale tidal energy device prototype.

Sartiaux joined the team in early October, bringing project management, engineering and design experience in complex high-performance systems to EEL energy, the company informed.

He will take over the responsibility for the design and fabrication project of the full-scale tidal energy prototype based on undulating membrane concept.

The most recent appointment follows EEL Energy’s expansion from last year, with Omar Mansouri’s appointment as Electronics Engineer, and that of Grégoire de Laval who took up the role in Business Development at the company.

To remind, in June 2017 EEL Energy unveiled plans to test its scaled tidal energy prototype off the coast of Brest in France.

The findings from the upcoming trials will be fed into the development of the full-scale device, which is currently in the design phase.
