Albany wave energy project tender released

A request for proposals from industry for wave energy project in Albany has been released on Monday.

This represents a significant step forward for the State Government’s $19.5 million commitment to developing the Albany wave energy project and investing in renewable energy projects in Western Australia.

Tribute to acquire remaining shares of Tocardo 

Tribute Resources announced the execution of a Term Sheet which outlines terms for a share exchange of Tribute shares for the remaining 53.5% of the issued and outstanding shares of Tocardo International BV.

Upon completion of the transaction outlined in the Term Sheet, Tocardo will be a wholly owned subsidiary of Tribute.

Nova Innovation CEO joins Ocean Energy Europe board

Simon Forrest, CEO of Nova Innovation, has joined the Ocean Energy Europe board of directors.

Nova will now bring their experience to bear at EU level and help guide the ocean energy sector towards industrialization.Since its inception in 2010, Nova has been at the forefront of tidal energy technology development.

Atlantis names new CFO

Atlantis has informed that Simon Counsell will stand down as Chief Finance Officer (CFO) of the company, effective August 31, 2017.

The company decided to name Andrew Dagley, current Head of Corporate Finance, as the new CFO.

Andrew Dagley joined Atlantis from IFM Investors.

OEEC: Marine Energy Event sees even stronger international focus

The marine energy industry has a role to play in the EU electricity supply by 2050. This requires advancement in the certification and verification of technologies in order to access commercial funding.

The 2017 edition of Marine Energy Event will focus on the conditions for commercial success.
