Marine Energy Event program announced

The Marine Energy Event 2017, organized in cooperation with the Dutch Energy from Water Association (EWA), offers delegates an insight in the latest developments in marine energy in the field of tidal and wave energy, salinity power and OTEC with a focus on bankable projects.

The marine energy industry has a role to play in the EU electricity supply by 2050. This requires advancement in the certification and verification of technologies in order to access commercial funding. The program for the event perfectly reflects this.

Opening
Introduction to the event and discussion on what is happening worldwide in the marine energy industry.

Certification, testing & verification
This session will focus on the certification, testing and verification within the marine energy industry, including presentations from EMEC and Bureau Vertias.

Financing Marine Energy projects
This session will focus on the financing of marine energy projects and highlighted by companies, including a presentation from Ocean Energy Advisors

Marine Energy Event is held as part of Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference (OEEC) which is an annual event focused on the complete offshore energy industry, from oil & gas to offshore wind and marine energy. The two-day event, to be held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands on (9), 10 & 11 October includes an exhibition where an expected 650+ companies will showcase their products and services. Next to that, there is an accompanying conference that covers key topics and solutions for the offshore community.
