Marine renewables day starts at OEEC

The 4th International OTEC Symposium is taking a center stage today, during the second day of the Offshore Energy Exhibition and Conference (OEEC) being held at Amsterdam RAI.

The Symposium has brought industry experts, NGO’s and governments from all over the world to the Netherlands to discuss the state of the ocean thermal energy conversion (OTEC) industry.

The program is expected to address the opportunities and the challenges that lie ahead in all phases of OTEC development.

Along with the OTEC, a Marine Energy Event is also taking place later today, organized in cooperation with the Dutch Energy from Water Association (EWA).

The event will present the latest developments in international marine energy projects, environmental monitoring, testing infrastructure, offshore safety and construction, and the evolving trends and export markets of this sector.

The speakers will include representatives from European Commission, EMEC, Atlantis Resources, Tocardo International and many more.

As the day moves forward, Tidal Energy Today will deliver you highlights from the two events. Be sure to check our Twitter and Facebook for live updates.
