Offshore Energy 2015: Registration open

The registration for Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference 2015 is now open. With over 13.500 offshore professionals and more than 650 exhibiting companies expected it promises to be another great event.

Next to the exhibition that covers 4 massive halls at Amsterdam RAI, more than 80 speakers representing some of the biggest players in the offshore energy industry will feature at the conference. Offshore Energy conference with this year’s theme: Investing in the future of energy has all the ingredients to be one of the leading international conferences covering all facets of the offshore energy industry.

History teaches us that the oil, gas, and energy industry has always shown great resilience. Oil prices have rarely been stable for long periods of time, and it is remarkable how the industry has maintained its ability to adapt to changes and developments.

The Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference 2015 offers insight into these potential changes, tapping into and creating new ideas. A fascinating mix of leaders from the business, buyers, investors, engineers and other interested parties within the offshore energy sector will get the opportunity to meet each other in four large halls of the Amsterdam RAI, totaling an area of approximately 23.000 m².

It is precisely this balance between supply and demand which is bringing more and more interested people to Amsterdam every year.

One of the new and very current themes during Offshore Energy 2015 is Technical Data Management. In this session, lead by Michael Nord from Shell, the effects of poor data quality and how improving data management can lead to reduced costs and better informed business decisions in the offshore oil and gas industry will be discussed.

HPHT drilling is featuring for the first time. In a technical session the developments in high-pressure, high temperature drilling operations will be discussed. Operators are investing in this challenging new game which is generally seen as offering new potential.

Because new and alternative energy sources could still lead to great corporate opportunities, they will again be explored in this year’s program. The focus is put on the developments of marine energy and the extensive possibilities to produce substantial amounts of renewable energy.

The program will be completed by interesting subjects as well intervention vessels best practices and new vessel designs, the role of technological innovation in new business models as part of cost reductions and export control in oil & gas. Moreover decommissioning and subsea processing are back on the agenda.

Next to the Technical Sessions OEEC offers three special Keynotes where panels from the industry discuss human resources challenges, oil and gas financials and the industry as a whole.

These Keynotes are free to attend.
