Resolute Marine CEO, Bill Staby, announced the company will base its headquarters in Cork, and that it expects to create around 80 new jobs in the area, Irish media report.
Resolute Marine Energy, a Boston based company, concerned with developing technologies that produce energy from ocean waves revealed that it will base its European headquarters in Cork, Ireland.
The company said that it will create around 80 new jobs during the period of the next five years.
“We’re confident our decision to set up our European operations in Cork is a good one. We have positioned ourselves in the middle of a maritime innovation hub that will yield great benefits for our company over time,” the Irish Times quotes Bill Staby as saying.
